Close ties between the two countries date back to the era of the UAE founder late president Sheikh Zayed al-Nahyan, added the minister.
The minister pointed out to the exchange of expertise and co-operation between Egypt and the UAE in the various spheres.
The minister also stressed the need of continuing co-operation and coordination in order to disseminate peace and preserve Arab national security.
As for the proceedings of the 77th session of the executive office of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, held in Amman, the UAE minister hailed the deliberations that were raised during the conference, along with recommendations to be put forward during the Algeria-hosted Arab Summit.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed, during the conference, on co-operation in social development sphere between the UAE and Jordan, added the minister.
The UAE minister welcomed the signing of MoU between the UAE and Jordan, she said, saying that the MoU involves co-operation in protecting the elderly and exchanging expertise in this respect.
