Two Egyptians wounded in Houthi drone strike on UAE

Two Egyptians were wounded in a terrorist attack committed by the Iran-backed Houthi militias against the UAE on Monday, the UAE Foreign Ministry told the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi.

According to a press release by the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday, Egypt’s Ambassador to the UAE Sherief El Bedaiwy promptly checked on the wounded Egyptians to ensure that their medical needs are met.

He contacted the wounded and made sure that they have received the necessary medical care.

The ambassador will meet them both on Wednesday.

The drone attack claimed by Yemen’s Houthi rebels triggered a fuel tank blast that left some people killed and wounded near Abu Dhabi International Airport.
