CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Sunday received a phone call from Tunisian President Kais Saied who offered condolences to the Egyptian people over the death of army martyrs in Sinai, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said in a statement.
Saied expressed Tunisia’s full solidarity with Egypt in face of terrorism.
He condemned the cowardly terrorist attack in western Sinai, which killed and injured a number of Egyptian armed forces personnel.
President Sisi expressed his appreciation for the generous gesture, which reflects the strength and durability of historical relations between the two countries, wishing the Tunisian government and people all stability and peace.
