The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates has intensified its contacts with friendly and partner Western countries to underscore the climate of security and stability prevailing in Egypt.
This comes in light of the ongoing follow-up to the repercussions of the current military escalation in the region.
The outreach aimed to confirm that there is no need to amend existing travel advisories related to Egypt, the Foreign Ministry said in a press statement today.
The Ministry also emphasised that Egypt remains one of the primary hubs for the evacuation of foreign nationals from the region when necessary, given the full readiness of state institutions.
These intensive contacts resulted in several countries keeping their travel advisories for Egypt unchanged, including the United States, Canada, and Ireland.
The US published an update on March 3 keeping its travel advisory for Egypt at the same level as before the latest military escalation.
The decision reflects international recognition of the security and stability Egypt continues to enjoy despite surrounding regional challenges.
The Foreign Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining coordination with international partners to ensure accurate assessments of the situation and to preserve confidence in Egypt as a safe and stable destination and strategic regional partner.
