CAIRO – Egyptian Transport Minister Kamel El Wazir has witnessed the signing ceremony of a deal to build a dry bulk terminal and establish logistics and industrial zones at Gargoub Port in Mersa Matrouh governorate.
The deal was signed by the Alexandria Port Authority and golden wings company under the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to upgrade all ports and optimize the use of the maritime transport sector’s assets.
The agreement covers the operation, management, exploitation and maintenance of the terminal and the zone.
Gargoub lies on the Mediterranean Coast in Mersa Matrouh Governorate. Located in the north-western part of Egypt, the governorate borders Libya
