CAIRO – Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El Wazir announced that the 6th edition of TransMea 2025, the leading expo for smart transport, logistics, and infrastructure in the Middle East & Africa, will take place in the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo on November 9-11.
Speaking at a press conference, the minister said the exhibition comes in light of the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to transform Egypt into a regional hub for transport, logistics, and transit trade, as well as an industrial center for the wider region.
The minister added that the timing of the exhibition is particularly significant, as Egypt is witnessing an unprecedented transformation in local manufacturing, infrastructure, and transport.
He explained that the exhibition’s theme “Together for Sustainable Development”, underscores the importance of integration between transport and industry, through the expansion of factories feeding the transportation sector, such as vehicle tires and chassis, as well as the precision manufacturing for components of electric means of transport including the high-speed electric train and the monorail.
