Egypt’s Minister of Transport Kamel el-Wazir has said his ministry aims to carry out an overarching plan to upgrade capabilities of human cadres to meet workforce demand in the public transport sector in Egypt, as well as Middle East and European countries.
During an expanded meeting Sunday with a number of officials and workers operating in the public transport affiliated companies, the minister said all efforts come in line with the political leadership directives to enhance workers skills, rehabilitate staffers, equip them with most up-to-date advances and guarantee their rights.
Ongoing drives targeting overhaul of the transport sector run in tandem with the great development the sector is witnessing under President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s leadership, Wazir said.
Meantime, the minister said the Ministry of Transport concluded a number of agreements with international companies to train the ministry’s staffers, with a view to honing their skills, he added.
