Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Nivine Gamea issued a decision to restructure the Egyptian side to the Egyptian-Nigerian business council, under Chairman of the Export Council for Building Materials (ECBM) Dr. Walid Gamal el-din, for three years.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Trade and Industry Ministry said that the decision stated that the chairman of the Egyptian side will present half-yearly periodic report to the trade and industry minister on the council’s efforts and activities.
The restructure of the council falls within the Trade and Industry Ministry’s efforts to increase the rates of intra-trade and joint investments between Egypt and Nigeria in particular and African countries in general in the coming stage, according to the statement.
