The Tourism and Antiquities Ministry, represented by the Egyptian Tourism Authority (ETA), participated in the annual conference of the US Tour Operator Association (USTOA) Annual Conference, which was held in Marco Island, Florida, the United States.
The conference was held from December 9 to 13.
In a statement on Monday, the ministry said its participation in the conference comes as per directives of Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathi on the importance of taking part in international tourism forums and conferences, which are a great opportunity to promote the Egyptian tourist destinations.
CEO of the ETA Amr el Qadi led Egypt’s delegation to the conference.
Since USTOA’s inception in 1972, the USTOA Annual Conference and Marketplace has distinguished itself for being the only travel industry event in the United States that brings together the leading North American travel companies with tourism suppliers and destinations from around the globe in an intimate and exclusive setting.
