CAIRO – The Tourism and Antiquities Ministry, represented by the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion, launched an advertising campaign to support tourism to Egypt during the English Premier League matches.
The campaign, which will run until November 13, includes promoting for Egypt inside the stadiums by placing advertisements about the various Egyptian tourist destinations on the banners placed in the stadium, said CEO of the General Egyptian Authority for Tourism Promotion Amr el Qady.
The campaign is also broadcasted on famous sports channels in the UK, such as Sky Sports and BT Sports, he added.
The campaign also aims to lure more tourists from all over the world to Sharm El Sheikh, which will host UN Climate Conference COP27 in November, he further said.
