The Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI) should team up with the General Healthcare Authority to implement presidential directives to speed up the application of health insurance nationwide in accordance with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
This statement by AOI chief Abdel Moneim Al-Terras came during the signing of a co-operation protocol for this purpose.
El-Terras praised the role of the General Healthcare Authority in developing the comprehensive health insurance system and provide top-quality medical services for all.
The AOI will put use its knowhow to modernise and digitise all health units of the comprehensive health insurance system in accordance with the latest international systems and quality standards, el-Terras said.
El-Tarras went on to say that the AOI sponsors all research projects and transforms them into marketable products, giving priority to research in successful models that are technically and economically feasible to be applied to industry.
General Healthcare Authority Dr. Ahmed Al-Sobki said during his visit to the AOI products exhibition that the next stage will witness huge strides in medical supplies in carrying out presidential directives regarding the importance of providing the best health and treatment services as part of activating the comprehensive health insurance system.
El-Sobky said the General Healthcare Authority has the confidence in AOI efforts and its technical ability to expand local medical industries and reduce imports, while meeting the needs of hospitals and health centres.
