“Tahya Misr” Fund launched a humanitarian aid convoy from all the governorates under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi under the motto of “sharing for humanity” to support the Palestinian brethren in the Gaza Strip in addition to Charity Doors (Abwab Al Kheir) convoy that supports families in 27 governorates on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
This came in presence of Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel el Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Housing Minister Sherif el Sherbini, Minister of Local Development Manal Awad, Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi, Minister of Agriculture Alaa Farouk, Minister of Youth and Sports Ashraf Sobhy, a number of governors, businessmen and representatives of NGOs and the civil community.
Hundreds of trucks were impressively lined in the New Administrative Capital as part of the comprehensive humanitarian aid convoy to the Palestinian brethren in the Gaza Strip.
The trucks were loaded with medical equipment, medicines, dry food supplies, canned food, mineral water, juices, clothes, blankets, carpets, covers, cleaning supplies, sanitizers, infant formula and food, diapers and personal care products.
Also, “Tahya Misr” Fund launched “Abwab Al Kheir” initiative to ease the burdens of the families that need care the most and to provide them with their living needs during the holy month of Ramadan in all the country’s governorates.
The initiative provides 2.5 million cartons of dry food supplies, meat, poultry and hot meals.
Executive Director of “Tahya Misr” Fund Tamer Abdel Fattah said that the fund launched the biggest convoy of trucks loaded with aid supplies to support the Palestinian brethren at the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The convoy includes 460 trucks with a load exceeding 7200 tons of food, basic needs and medical equipment, he said.
The convoy will be launched over three stages from the various governorates, he said.
The convoy included medical equipment and medicines to present healthcare to the Gazans at this crucial time, he said.
