Egypt’s Assistant Minister of Supply Ibrahim Eshmawy said on Monday that the green food centers project due to be established on 100 feddans in Ismailia, will offer food products to local and foreign markets through opening export channels.
Addressing a ceremony to launch the green food centres project in co-operation with the French Development Agency (AFD), he said the cost of the project is estimated at EGP 3 billion.
He affirmed the importance of the project due to its location near Egypt’s main ports saying it will also help facilitate the exports of farms’ production through the ports.
