ISMAILIA – Suez Canal Authority Chairman Osama Rabie said on Sunday the canal traffic registered unprecedented records in April 2022.
In a statement on Sunday, Rabie said 1,929 ships transited the waterway in the two directions compared with 1,814 ships in the same month in 2021.
The authority’s revenues hit dlrs 629 million in April 2022 against dlrs 553.6 million in the corresponding period of 2021, he noted.
