‘Successful experience in attracting investment’

Egypt has successful experience in attracting foreign investments, thanks to available opportunities and the excellent infrastructure.

This statement by chairman of the Economy and Investment Committee of the Jordanian Parliament Omar Anton came in exclusive statements to the official Middle East News Agency (MENA) on the sidelines of the Jordanian national economy conference.

Egypt has great investment opportunities and its infrastructure has paved the way for foreign investors to do business in various sectors, Anton said, adding that Egypt’s experiments with the public-private partnerships has proved successful.

“Such partnerships are among the best worldwide,” he said.

“There is an Egyptian-Jordanian co-operation in the legislation sector, whereby Egyptian and Jordanian parliamentarians exchange visits in order to forge successful economic co-operation,” Anton said, describing the economic and investment co-operation between Egypt, Jordan, UAE and Bahrain as ”unique”.
