CAIRO – Egyptian Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi said that the ministry is looking forward to coordinating with various ministries and state institutions to provide incentives to Egyptians living abroad to enhance investment in Egypt as well as attracting Egyptian remittances from abroad.
This came during the minister’s meeting with head of Egyptian forum in Johannesburg Mary Khella.
In a press release, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Ministry said that the minister asserted her keenness on meeting the needs of Egyptians abroad within the outcome of the third edition of the Egyptian entities abroad conference as well as enhancing cooperation with African states within Egypt’s vision to boost cooperation with the African peoples.
The minister also said that the government and Egyptian expats are working together to reach the sustainable development goals within the framework of efforts to benefit from the Egyptian expats’ soft power and to promote investment opportunities in Egypt.
