CAIRO – The state is keen to improve the skills of Egyptian workers abroad, strengthen competitiveness capabilities and defend their rights, Labor Minister Hassan Shehata said.
The minister’s remarks came on Friday at an online workshop organized by the Labor Ministry in cooperation with coordinators of the Saudi professional program in the presence of representatives of more than 20 companies to present the program’s details and mechanisms.
The programme is part of an agreement signed by the Labor Ministry and the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development under a memorandum of understanding inked to guarantee providing Egyptian laborers working abroad with the necessary qualifications and skills.
