CAIRO – Egypt’s Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi greeted on Wednesday 22-year-old Egyptian gymnast, Ali Mounir after breaking the record for the jump squat movement and entering the Guinness Book of Records.
Mounier achieved 68 repetitions in 60 seconds while carrying an 40 lb pack.
The last number recorded in the encyclopedia was 51 repetitions by Indian player Kapil Kumar.
Ali Mounir started gymnastics when he was 16 years old in 2015 and is a serial record breaker
