Egypt’s Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhy has praised fruitful co-operation with the Egyptian Exchange, stressing the need to intensify joint programmes in the coming stage.
Sobhy was speaking during a meeting with EGX board chairman Ramy el Dokany earlier Wednesday.
The meeting followed successful programmes that were launched in the previous period with the aim of boosting financial awareness.
They talked about a proposal to have electronic elections applied at all sports clubs and another to list sports services companies in the EGX.
An EGX statement said the meeting also took up co-operation with the Sports Ministry to enhance awareness of the Egyptian bourse inside clubs and youth centers.
This is done as part of state efforts to apply financial inclusion, the statement added.
