CAIRO – Egyptian Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi hailed the results achieved by Egypt’s wrestling team in the African Championship held in Morocco.
The team for freestyle wrestling succeeded in achieving 72 medals, including 44 gold medals, 15 silver medals, and 13 bronze medals in the championship which was held from May 17 to 22.
The minister, meanwhile, congratulated the Egyptian Wrestling Federation, the players and the technical staff for this great achievement and the distinguished results achieved in the championship.
He also hailed the team’s performance during the championship, saying that they managed to attain a victory that will be added to the Egyptian sports accomplishments.
