CAIRO – Nearly 11 million people will benefit from the decision of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to increase pensions by 15% as of April, said Chairman of the National Authority for Social Insurance Gamal Awad.
Extending thanks to President Sisi for this decision, Awad also said that as of next April the pensions will be increased by a minimum of EGP 170 and a maximum of EGP 1,635.
He also referred to President Sisi’s earlier decision to grant an exceptional monthly increase worth EGP 300 to pensioners.
