CAIRO- The Social Solidarity Ministry signed cooperation agreements with four civil society organizations standing at a total of EGP 70 million.
This falls within the framework of the ministry’s efforts to cooperate with its civil society partners in order to promote employment and economic empowerment.
In press statements on Saturday, Minister of Social Solidarity Nivine Kabbag underlined the importance of partnership with Orman Association as the two sides are engaging 50-50 in several projects, especially in livestock production projects.
This is the third time for cooperating with Orman Association in the economic empowerment domain, according to her.
The ministry is also cooperating with Sonaa El Khair Foundation to support fishermen and activate handicrafts, she said.
It is engaged as well in a partnership with the Om Habibeh Foundation in the Upper Egypt governorate of Aswan to empower women economically.
The ministry also collaborates with Ibtikar Khana to encourage entrepreneurship, especially in Fayyoum and Beni Suef governorates.
