Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine el-Qabbaj inspected Sunday the site of a digitized government service complex under construction in the New Valley Governorate, which will be the first-of-its-kind model resembling the New Administrative Capital.
el-Qabbaj paid the inspection tour during her visit to the New Valley Governorate to participate in the second Egyptian marketing forum for dates, which kicked off earlier today in El Kharga city under the aegis of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, amid celebrations of the 63rd National Day of the New Valley Governorate.
She said the new complex, which will be electronically linked with the New Administrative Capital, is scheduled for opening early next year.
Accompanied by the ministers of trade, agriculture, and local development, as well as New Valley and Marsa Matrouh, Gamea also visited the June 30 Garden, which has palm trees bearing the names of ministers, governors, and ambassadors.
The garden was built in pursuance of a presidential initiative to plant 2.5 palm trees in the governorate.
el-Qabbaj also inspected the “Silk Oasis” project to produce raw silk in El Kharga. The project is established over 180 feddans.
The three-day event is witnessing the participation of more than 100 exhibitors from all over the country.
The ambassadors of Senegal and Mauritania attended the opening ceremony, along with a host of formers governors and senior executives from the New Valley Governorates.
