Egypt’s Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsy is following up on the updates of the fire that broke out in the Jewish Alley, al Gamaliya district in Cairo, setting a blaze to a number of stores of the popular market.
The minister directed the head of the social solidarity directorate in Cairo to inspect the blaze scene.
She also directed the relief teams and the Egyptian Red Crescent to provide emergency support and assess the impact of the incident.
Meanwhile, Morsy issued directives to report losses and take swift measures to support those affected by the fire.
