CAIRO – Egyptian Social Solidarity Minister Nivine Kabbag said a co-operation protocol will be signed with Qatar to promote bilateral co-operation and exchange experts.
She made the remarks on Wednesday during a press conference with Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al-Misnad, Qatari Minister of Social Development and Family, after their tour in the integrated service centre in Asmarat district.
Kabbag said Misnad’s visit came within the framework of co-operation between the two countries in the social and humanitarian domain.
Misnad stood on all activities being carried out by the ministry.
Misnad said the visit falls within the context of enhancing co-operation with member states of the Council of Arab Ministers for Social Affairs.
Misnad hailed the efforts being exerted by Egypt in the field of women empowerment, welcoming co-operation with the Egyptian Social Solidarity Ministry amid plans to ink a co-operation protocol with it.
She thanked the Arab League for its efforts to support promoting co-operation among Arab states.
