Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi accompanied by Singapore’s Minister of Family and Social Development Masagos Zulkifli, who is currently visiting Egypt, toured Al-Nas Children’s Charitable Hospital.
They were received by Member of the Board of Trustees of Al Nas Hospital Ayman Mamdouh Abbas.
The two ministers were briefed on the services provided at Al Nas Hospital, which is one of the largest distinguished medical centers in the Arab region and Africa.
Al Nas Hospital has a capacity of approximately 600 beds and comprises five buildings covering an area of 30,000 square meters, in addition to a services building.
It includes 10 operating rooms, 140 intensive care units, four cardiac catheterization units, and 48 outpatient clinics.
During the visit, Morsi, Zulkifli, and their companions met with doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and patients.
Al Nas Children’s Hospital is an exemplary model of civil society in Egypt, providing free, high-quality medical services.
It also boasts the best professional cadres of doctors, specialists, nursing teams, and technicians needed to operate this hospital, which is equipped with the latest scientific advances in modern medical equipment.
For his part, the Singaporean minister praised the services at Al Nas Children’s Hospital, which provides free, high-quality medical services to children, in accordance with the latest technologies and international standards.
Al Nas Children’s Hospital serves all patients free of charge since September 2019, having first begun operating and providing services in the pediatric cardiology building.
These services are provided 100% free of charge, in accordance with the best and most up-to-date international standards and technologies.
