Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine el-Qabbag on Tuesday headed for Doha, Qatar for the 42nd Council of Arab Social Affairs Ministers, which opened today and ends tomorrow.
During her visit, the minister will also attend 78th meeting of the council’s executive office, of which Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Oman and Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Sudan are members.
The minister will be taking part in a high-profile event on persons with disabilities, multi-dimensional poverty and the implementation of the 2030 sustainable development plan.
Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul-Gheit will be present at this event.
