Egyptian Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhi reiterated on Thursday the ministry’s keenness on enhancing co-operation with all State bodies to offer more help to youth ideas and turn their innovative initiatives into reality.
During his meeting with Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir, Sobhi lauded fruitful co-operation with the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the establishment of joint co-operation projects to serve youths, citing Kayani platform that offers all services needed by young people and Tawar w 3’ayar platform that aims at honing skills of youths.
The meeting aims at mulling ways of joint co-operation between the two ministries and offering technical support to the programmes and initiatives adopted by the Youths and Sports Ministry.
Talks tackled the importance of benefiting from incentives offered by the Industry Ministry to encourage the private sector to expand in the establishment of factories specialised in manufacturing sports equipment and supplies.
The trade and industry minister reiterated readiness to provide all forms of support to young people.
He said an agreement was reached during the talks that the Industrial Modernisation Centre (IMC) would offer technical support to train young women in handy crafts domain as part of Egyptian Girls Club programme adopted by the Youths and Sports Ministry in different governorates.
