The campaign of Egyptian presidential candidate Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday received a delegation from the General Federation of Youth Workers, headed by its chairman Abdel Aziz Samir.
Head of the campaign Mahmoud Fawzy welcomed the delegation members, and expressed appreciation of the major role played by young people in the political and awareness work.
On their part, the delegation members said the federation has 27 branches nationwide and a strong database that includes seven million Egyptian young men and women.
They stated that the federation started holding several conferences and symposiums to educate citizens about their constitutional rights and urge them to positively participate in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
The National Election Authority (NEA) announced that three presidential hopefuls and incumbent President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi presented their candidacy papers as the period set for candidacy submissions closed on Saturday.
Voting in Egypt will take place on December 10-12 December, with Egyptians abroad casting their votes on December 1-3.
