BEIJING – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping will meet here Wednesday to discuss means of boosting bilateral relations.
The two leaders will also talk about expanding co-operation in different fields.
Sisi’s visit to China coincides with the 10th anniversary of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
The summit talks will also tackle regional and international files of mutual concern, atop of which the war on Gaza.
Sisi and Xi will also attend the inking of a number of co-operation agreements and memorandums of understanding in many domains.
During his visit to China, the Egyptian president is set to meet with representatives of some giant Chinese companies to review investment opportunities in Egypt.
He is scheduled to attend the inaugural session of the 10th ministerial meeting of the China–Arab States Co-operation Forum (CASCF) on May 30.
