Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi witnessed Wednesday the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between Egypt and Serbia.
Among the signed agreements between the two countries is a pact in the higher education sphere covering the period from 2022 to 2025.
The agreement was signed between Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and First Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Branko Ruzic.
On the sidelines of his visit to Belgrade on Wednesday, Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shouky signed with the Serbian agriculture minister a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on co-operation in the agriculture sphere.
Shoukry also signed with the Serbian culture and information minister a co-operation pact related to culture and arts sphere.
An MoU was signed between the two countries regarding consular visas along with the signing of several pacts and MoUs related to promoting the Egyptian-Serbian ties.
In addition, an MoU was signed between the Development Agency of Serbia (RAS) and the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
Another MoU was signed between the RAS and the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA).
