ASWAN – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi urged accelerating the completion of the mechanization of the railways system to put work in order and limit the human element to decrease mistakes in the system.
This came during Sisi’s comment via video conference on a speech by Transport Minister Kamel el Wazir while watching the line-up of new train locomotives at Ramses Station on the sidelines of the inauguration of new expansions of a urea and ammonium nitrate plant in Kima district of Aswan in Upper Egypt.
Sisi said that improving the railway lines cost large amounts of money including a loan from Japan.
Sisi stressed that the citizens should side with the state to achieve the best for the country.
He asserted the importance of maintaining the train stations clean and flawless to guarantee presenting the best services for the citizens.
