Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi congratulated President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Felix Tshisekedi on his re-election for a new presidential term.
Sisi asserted Egypt’s keenness on enhancing co-operation with Congo in various domains for the best interests of the people of both countries and the African continent.
This came during Sisi’s phone call with Tshisekedi, Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmi said.
For his part, Tshisekedi lauded the depth of bilateral ties, thanking Egypt for offering logistical support during the electoral process in Congo.
