PARIS- Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met in Paris on Friday with French Economy and Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire.
Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy stated that President Sisi said he is looking forward to deepening and developing vistas of joint cooperation with France in the economic and developmental domains.
The president said efforts are focused on scaling up French investments in Egypt to make use of promising opportunities offered by major projects nationwide, added Fahmi.
In turn, the French official asserted his country’s utmost keenness on maximizing cooperation with the Egyptian government on all fronts to promote ongoing development process in the country.
He stressed France’s support for projects of the French companies in Egypt, in addition to providing necessary finance mechanisms for plans of the two countries and financial and technical cooperation.
The spokesman said the meeting discussed activities of the international important summit and the dire need of making reforms in the world finance system to achieve further justice and boost developing countries’ capabilities of overcoming challenges, particularly climate change bad impacts.
