Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi called for maintaining work on the ongoing projects in the New Administrative Capital (NAC) according to the set timeframe and construction plans for the completion of the projects, with due attention to the details of landscaping in all roads, axes and neighbourhoods in order to integrate with all construction and engineering elements of the capital and to reflect the image of the modern Egyptian state.
The President’s remarks came during his meeting on Thursday with Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Ihab El-Far and Director of Ibdaa Marble Factory Tarek El-Khoudairi, Presidency Spokesman Ambassador Bassam Radi said.
During the meeting, the President followed up on the construction and engineering situation of a number of the engineering authority projects being implemented in various sectors in the New Administrative Capital, especially with regard to the strategic leadership headquarters.
The President was also briefed on the progress of work in the axes network within the New Administrative Capital and the efforts of urban coordination of the main roads and axes.
