Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi gave directives for the continuation of efforts to support the military and defence industrial development sector at the national level and the transfer and localisation of advanced technology in this context, in a way that would help achieve the optimal utilisation of the capabilities and the accumulated expertise Egypt possesses in this regard.
The president’s remarks came as he met on Tuesday with General Ahmed Khaled, Commander of the Strategic Command and Supervisor of Military Industrialisation and Colonel Ahmed Adel Mujahid of the Strategic Command.
During the meeting, the president followed up on efforts to promote and develop military industrialisation.
For his part, General Khaled presented plans to develop military industrialisation and production, including the exchange of experiences with prestigious international bodies in this field, as well as the use of global technology in industrialisation.
