Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt Hassan Abdullah on Thursday to review the economic situation in Egypt and globally, as well as the performance of the banking sector and monetary policies. Discussions focused on efforts to increase the country’s foreign currency reserves.
President Sisi called for continued efforts to ensure the availability of essential production requirements for priority sectors. He also underscored the importance of creating conducive conditions to attract more foreign investments and empower the private sector in a way that help achieve the targets of comprehensive development.
