CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Wednesday Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Uganda’s Chief of Defense Forces (UPDF) who is currently visiting Cairo.
Defense Minister Abdel Meguid Saqr attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the Ugandan official conveyed greetings of President Yoweri Museveni to Sisi who in return expressed deep appreciation for his Ugandan counterpart.
Sisi lauded the historic Egyptian-Ugandan relations, stressing keenness on enhancing bilateral relations in various domains, especially the military score.
The talks tackled regional and continental conditions and means of enhancing cooperation to promote development in African continent.
