Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi discussed on Wednesday with Peter an De Nul, the CEO of Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering NV (DEME) Jan De Nul Group, efforts to develop and protect Egyptian shores especially those located on the Mediterranean.
The meeting was held at the residence of the Egyptian president at the Belgian capital, in the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador in Brussels and a number of the group’s senior officials.
Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said the president hailed co-operation with the Belgian company in the domain of development projects and infrastructure as the company enjoys good experience in the domain of dredging, which would help protect Egyptian shores from erosion.
The CEO of the Belgian company hailed his meeting with President Sisi and praised promoting investment opportunities in Egypt to improve the economy and develop the infrastructure.
He hailed the volume of mega national projects being carried out in Egypt.
