CAIRO -Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, posed on Wednesday for a photo op with the attendees of the second Egypt International Co-operation Forum (Egypt-ICF 2022) that kicked off in the New Administrative Capital.
The photo included US Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John Kerry and a number of Egyptian and African ministers of finance, economy and environment, as well as a galaxy of senior official and international figures.
The forum discusses mobilization of resources and financing to address the climate change and mitigate its repercussions, in addition to reviewing the national measures taken in this regard.
The forum aims in the first place to move from the stage of commitments and financial pledges to actual implementation of quick and tangible measures.
