CAIRO – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi is performing Friday prayers at Tantawi Mosque in the 5th settlement district, New Cairo.
This comes on the occasion of marking the 10th of Ramadan victory (October war) anniversary.
The Friday prayers were led by Dr. El Shahat Sayed Azazi who delivered the Friday sermon on the fasting month of Ramadan and victories achieved during this holy month.
Egyptians should be proud of their ancestors who achieved the 10th of Ramadan (October war) victory, Azazi said during Friday sermon delivered today in the presence of President Sisi at Tantawi Mosque.
He asked God to preserve Egypt’s security and prosperity and to protect its leader, army and people.
President Sisi was accompanied by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Minister of Defense Mohamed Zaki, Egypt’s Army Chief of Staff Osama Askar, Minister of Justice Amr Marwan, Minister of Awqaf Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa, Minister of Interior Mahmoud Tawfiq, Minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawi, Minister of State for Military Production Mohmed Ahmed Morsi along with Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Aal and Egypt’s Mufti Shawqi Allam in addition to a host of Armed Forces commanders, officers and soldiers.
