NEW DELHI – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi participated on Thursday as guest of honor in the celebrations of the Republic Day of India.
President Sisi started his visit to India on Tuesday to attend the Indian celebrations with the occasion.
Sisi held important talks with the Indian prime minister and president that tackled means to boost bilateral ties at the different levels.
Sisi’s invitation to the celebrations as a guest of honor reflects the deep appreciation of India to Egypt and the interest of the Indian side to boost cooperation between Egypt and India.
President Sisi’s visit to India coincides with the passage of 75 years on establishing the diplomatic ties between Egypt and India.
