CAIRO – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered finalizing new projects at the scheduled time and ensure that new cities will genuinely add to the national economy through the fulfillment of suitable developmental projects.
The measure is meant to maintain sustainability of the cities and their capability of attraction and generation of production and trade activities, added the president at a meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el-Gazar on Monday.
Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy said the meeting discussed the new cities projects nationwide and ongoing efforts exerted by the government to develop different areas.
