CAIRO – Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Monday called for maintaining coordination and co-operation among the state’s bodies concerned to implement national projects related to the “Decent Life” initiative to develop the Egyptian Countryside.
Sisi’s remarks came during his meeting with Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouli and Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Assem el Gazzar, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The meeting reviewed the executive situation of the housing ministry’s projects included in the presidential initiative in the sectors of sewage, water, and treatment plants, as well as service projects and the Sakan Karim “Decent Housing” project.
The president also followed up on the ongoing projects to develop Historic Cairo, in addition to the development efforts of Maspero Triangle and Mamsha Ahl Masr Walkway (The Walk of the People of Egypt), according to the spokesman.
