Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah El Sisi received on Friday a phone call from Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
The two leaders discussed ways to strengthen ties between Cairo and Athens as well as measures to boost joint co-operation in various aspects, especially in the fields of investment, trade, energy and electricity, according to Presidential Spokesman Ahmed Fahmy.
The two leaders also stressed the importance of intensive political consultations between the two nations on issues of common concern, especially with regard to developments in the eastern Mediterranean region.
