The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met during his bike tour here with a female Swedish climate activist that traveled by bicycle from Sweden for a distance of 7,000 kilometres in a journey that took four months to participate in the 27th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP27).
This was announced by Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
The president made a bike tour in the wee hours of Thursday in Sharm el-Sheikh, where he inspected the eco-friendly Green Zone that hosts several COP27 events.
President Sisi also met with a number of Egyptian and foreign youth taking part in the UN climate conference.
