The “Tahya Misr” (Long Live Egypt) Fund has to continue making its contributions and promoting its activities and programs, affirmed President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
This comes as part of a fruitful partnership with the governmental bodies, the NGOs and the private sector in order to confront societal challenges and raise the efficiency of services offered to the most-needy families, added President Sisi during his meeting Saturday with Presidential Advisor for Financial Affairs Major General Mohamed Amin.
The meeting tackled the activity of ”Long Live Egypt” Fund and its contributions in support of the national development process and the social protection programs, said Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady.
During the meeting, Amin reviewed the overall contributions and activities of “Long Live Egypt” Fund and its crucial role in supporting the State in carrying out social protection programs and development projects nationwide.
The total contributions made by the fund since its establishment in the various sectors across Egypt reached EGP 22 billion, including EGP 7 billion allocated to urban development, EGP 11.5 billion earmarked to the healthcare sphere, EGP 1.3 billion allotted to social protection initiatives, EGP 400 million allocated to providing jobs, and EGP 531 million disbursed to support education.
The fund also allocated EGP 200 million to support talented people and EGP 400 million was allocated to shore up the investment sector.
