As Egypt marks the 42nd anniversary of the Sinai Liberation Day, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi Tuesday laid a wreath at the tomb of the unknown soldier.
Sisi was accompanied by Defense Minister Mohamed Zaki and Chief of Staff Osama Askar.
The martyr’s anthem was played in appreciation of sacrifices of Egyptians to defend their homeland.
Sisi also laid a wreath at the tomb of late president Anwar Sadat.
