The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi lauded on Thursday deeply-rooted relations binding Egypt with South Korea and the existing partnership between the two countries.
Sisi made the remarks during a phone call with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said.
The contact tackled a number of cooperation topics in the economic and investment domains in light of the successful Korean investments in Egypt.
The two sides exchanged viewpoints towards a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest and preparations for COP27 conference that will take place in November in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el Sheikh.
Sisi greeted the South Korean president over the anniversary of Day of the Foundation of the Republic.
The Korean president expressed appreciation for distinguished relations with Egypt, hoping to further cooperation with the country in all domains, especially economic and trade ones.
