President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

President Sisi and King Hamad reviewed the distinguished bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed ways to further advance them across all fields, serving the common interests and strengthening their fraternal bonds as well as Arab solidarity, President Spokesman Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy said.

The two leaders also discussed regional developments, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip. They stressed the necessity of the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement and ensuring the urgent and unfettered delivery of humanitarian aid. The two leaders also stressed the imperative to start the reconstruction process in the Gaza Strip to guarantee the restoration of normal life for its inhabitants.

The two leaders reaffirmed their categorical rejection of any attempts to displace the Palestinian people from their land and emphasized that the Palestinian cause remains a top priority on both Arab and international agendas.

They further agreed on the importance of the full implementation of President Trump’s Peace Plan, as endorsed in the relevant United Nations Security Council Resolution No. 2803, considering it a framework for achieving just and comprehensive peace.

President Sisi and King Hamad agreed to maintain continuous communication and coordination on matters of common interest, particularly given the complex challenges facing the region, in order to reinforce Arab unity and advance the welfare of their peoples.
